BTC - This weekend the Washington Post threw down a gauntlet by endorsing the Senate's national ID program embedded in the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. Russel Cavanaugh, a smart meter privacy activist, asked me about posting on YouTube. It was implied this is the continued press offensive line, just after dropping off a comment and posting it at Twitter.
Why am I not posting on YouTube? Good question. There obviously has been some hesitation about dumping my image in the public domain voluntarily.
I've decided to leave it up to you to choose the best answer. I will respond to online polling. If you want YouTube delivery I will try to produce something worthwhile to your screens. If you don't, I'll know that too, once you take this simple online poll.

BTC - We are a couple of days off for the Holiday Season. Lets show you some really cool gift items; which are actually good at any time into the New Year.
Here's a really cool book by Gene Healy. It should prove useful as a Libertarian counterpunch, because a bunch of uppity Chicago people are going to try our patience in the new year.
Here's another really super cool book from a Green perspective, by David Swanson.

WRITTEN UP: Missouri protests TSA Body Scamming practices
KANSAS CITY - BTC- Sidewalk sign waves can be a thankless dish of humble pie. However, the brave souls of Missouri's liberty activist strongholds are [so mmmm...Heavy Metal?] that they held the attention anchor of at least three televised news services.
I especially loved the pre-teen standing out there with the sign that says,
"THE TSA WANTS TO SEE MY JUNK!"

FILMS: Examining the excuse of national security
BTC - As Americans we are prone to getting dizzy, lost, in what I have deemed "the toilet of distractions". Today news crows are invested with the incests of D.C.'s culture of deceit and secrecy. Paying attention is almost not worth it if you watch TV or read conventional news.
It is important to have some education on the nature of the work in American intelligence agencies.
The two following films shed essential light on the real problems with some of the intelligence processes. They will help anyone understand surveillance, national security, secrecy and the way our Congress has become drafted or seduced into an "in" club.
The "closed door" briefings that the CIA and other intelligence agencies regularly commence with, force secrecy on our top officials. Some of whom may actually NEED to speak up on behalf of their constituencies or even possibly self preservation.
Whatever your opinion is of the nature of modern conspiracy; secrecy seems to be consistent with abuses of power.
Below are 2 films to examine what the US government has done on the auspices of "national security".
